Meet the Founder
Elizabeth Herremans + President & Realtor
Elizabeth Herremans is the founder of Birds Nesting, a boutique real estate and relocation advisory built from lived experience inside the professional sports world. Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Elizabeth brings a deep understanding of the Northeast market, paired with a career shaped by high-performance environments and constant transition.
Before real estate, Elizabeth trained and competed as a dancer and athlete, earning a scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and performing with professional teams including the Philadelphia Wings and Philadelphia 76ers. That foundation in discipline, adaptability, and elite standards would later inform how she approaches business and client service.
As the wife of former NFL player Todd Herremans, Elizabeth spent years navigating the realities of professional sports life—relocation under pressure, privacy concerns, compressed timelines, and the emotional weight of change. Along the way, she and Todd invested in multiple properties, lived in both urban and suburban markets, and built a home from the ground up, giving Elizabeth firsthand experience as both an owner and investor.
She is also a mother of two, a role that has sharpened her perspective on what families truly need during transitions—stability, efficiency, and an advocate who understands that home is about far more than square footage.
Those experiences became the foundation for Birds Nesting—a brand designed to help athletes, coaches, and their families land well in new cities. Elizabeth is a licensed realtor in Pennsylvania and works across refers across multiple markets to provide strategic guidance that extends far beyond the transaction. Her approach blends real estate, relocation logistics, furnishing, and concierge-level support, with a focus on discretion, efficiency, and trust.
At its core, Birds Nesting exists to create a sense of home during moments of change—so clients can focus on their careers and families, while Elizabeth handles the rest.
